What is Student Voices?

Student Voices is an on-going independent research project that looks into the higher education experience of students across the UK, Europe and South Africa.

Its focus is on understanding how students regard their education and perceive their learning, as well as the learning methods and resources they use and the educational challenges they face.

More recently it has investigated student motivations, learning obstacles, their views on digital resources and employability skills, as well as investigating the challenges of remote learning during the Covid-19 crisis.

Our latest findings include the unique voices of 1,547 students across 170 higher education institutions.
